Originally from Lakeland FL, I have lived in Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi and around Florida, always staying in the South. I got a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Commercial Design at Delta State University in Cleveland, MS. When I started in the business, things were done a little differently, using Xacto® knives, waxed copy, T-squares, and light tables to align the text and art. When computers came on the scene, I came kicking and screaming into the computer age, but found that I absolutely loved learning the programs and working on the Apple computer. From there I have not looked back, though I do pine occasionally for the old Xacto® knife and light table! You will usually find me at the computer in our Lakeland home, working on a design for a client or working on something for church or a friend. Though semi-retired, I love the challenge of a project and love helping people when they need a new design for their business or charity.
